Sculptra
Sculptra is a biostimulator, which means it causes your body to create its own collagen in areas of lost volume. Since it increases collagen production, it has the added benefit of improving skin texture and tone, along with increasing fullness where you want it. Sculptra is quickly becoming a favorite of Method clients because of its subtle, naturally refreshing results with minimal downtime.

Clients who are noticing lines, volume loss, and generalized signs of aging - but feel nervous about appearing unnatural or overdone with filler. Sculptra tightens skin tone, fills in lines and wrinkles, and provides a strong structure to the tissue to offer an overall more youthful appearance. Method injectors love it for subtle areas like the temples and neck, as well as higher impact areas like the cheeks and nasolabial folds.
Sculptra is not used in pregnant or breastfeeding women.

A topical numbing cream is applied before the procedure, and it works wonders! Ice packs and vibratory distraction devices are also used. While you may feel some discomfort around specific areas of the face, you shouldn’t be in pain.

Apply ice to the area for the first 12 hours. Swelling and bruising are can occur in the first 7 days, but Arnica Montana tablets can help. Avoid blood thinners immediately following injection. Tylenol can be taken to decrease discomfort. Take cold sore medication as prescribed if you are prone to cold sores. Call your injector with any questions or concerns.
Botox, Dysport, and Xeomin can be injected in a different part of the face from Sculptra in the same appointment, but we recommend spacing out injection in the same area by 2 weeks.

Results from Sculptra take anywhere from 6 weeks to 4 months to see, because your body is gradually building its own collagen. The skin quality results will be visible before the volume changes. Most clients will need 2-3 treatments, spaced apart by about 4-6 weeks. Results last 2+ years.

Restylane Filler
Restylane fillers are a long-established line of hyaluronic acid fillers from Galderma, the makers of Sculptra and Dysport. They are designed to restore volume lost due to aging or changes in collagen, bone, or fat, or to enhance areas you want an extra pop, like the lips or cheeks. Popular options like Restylane Kysse are specifically formulated for soft, smooth lip enhancement that moves naturally with expression.

Depending on the part of the face injected, the product used, and some metabolic factors of the individual, Restylane filler lasts 6-18 months.
Certain areas (like the lips) are limited in how much filler they can hold. If you have had filler injected in the same area multiple times, you may need to have it dissolved and then re-filled. Filler dissolving should be performed at least 2 weeks before injecting with filler again. Schedule a METHOD consult with one of our injectors to discuss.

After RHA treatment, mild swelling or tenderness is normal and should resolve within a few days. Avoid strenuous activity, heat, or alcohol for 24 hours. You can otherwise return to your normal routine right away.

RHA fillers are long-lasting, with results typically maintained for up to 12–15 months, depending on the area treated and individual factors. Many clients schedule touch-ups once a year to maintain optimal results, though some may benefit from slightly earlier or later treatments based on their unique needs and lifestyle.
